We believe that cancer care goes beyond medical treatment alone. Many patients face challenges with mobility, fatigue, pain, and emotional wellbeing during and after treatment. Recognising these needs, we have started a partial subsidisation program to make physiotherapy and mental health support more accessible to patients.
Why Physiotherapy Matters
Cancer and its treatments can lead to muscle weakness, reduced mobility, and long-term side effects that affect daily living. Physiotherapy provides structured exercises and rehabilitation strategies that help patients:
Regain strength and stamina
Improve balance and mobility
Manage pain and fatigue
Enhance overall quality of life
Through our collaboration with Medispring Rehabilitation Centre, patients can access professional physiotherapy sessions tailored to their individual needs at a subsidized rate.
Supporting Mental Health
A cancer diagnosis does not only affects the body—it deeply impacts mental health as well. Patients often experience anxiety, depression, or emotional stress throughout their journey.
Together with Labyrinth Psychological Centre, we are making psychological support more affordable and accessible. Counselling and therapy sessions can provide patients and their caregivers with coping tools, emotional resilience, and a safe space to process their experiences.
How You Can Help
If you or someone you know is living with cancer and may benefit from physiotherapy or mental health support in Johor Bahru but faces financial barriers, please reach out to us at sejatiinitiative@gmail.com or +6011-1498 8406 (WhatsApp). We will do our best to arrange support through this subsidisation program for those in need.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Medispring Rehabilitation Centre and the psychologists at Labyrinth Psychological Centre for partnering with us in this important initiative!
