We are truly privileged to be invited to the beautiful city of Marrakech to attend the 10th MPN Horizons conference from 10th to 12th October 2025.
During the conference, we were deeply humbled and inspired to hear from delegates and experts representing more than 20 countries worldwide. It was a meaningful mix of high-resource and low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), and we were proud to be one of the five Asian countries representing our region. They shared their on-the-ground experiences and collective efforts in making the journey of living with Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN) a more manageable and hopeful one.
What made this conference especially meaningful was that it was led by patients themselves — people who live with MPN and their caregivers, speaking up for others in similar situations, and taking the lead in advocating for better access to medicines, improved communication with healthcare providers, and better overall outcomes.
We also had the honour of sharing with the international audience some of the work we’ve been doing on the haematological cancer support front in Malaysia. We are also delighted that Sejati’s poster submitted for this event won second prize and was well received by the other delegates.
We are deeply grateful for the invitation and the opportunity to learn. The more we discover what we don’t yet know, and what more we can do, the more inspiring this journey becomes!
