Recently, Dr Mei Yee went over to Semporna to check in on some of our patients who are on long-term medications. It was a chance not only to make sure they’re doing well with their treatments, but also to spend time chatting and catching up.
During the visit, she also distributed deworming medications and lice treatment — small but important steps that help keep the community, especially children,
healthier in the long run. And of course, there were social visits too, because listening and being present often matters more than medicine itself.

The community appreciated her sincerity and care, and each trip reminds us why we keep coming back: the smiles, the trust, and the connections we’ve built over time.
